Nightcap
I have to be up in six hours, and am having trouble getting to sleep.
My remedy? A small slice of german chocolate cake and a glass of milk, eaten while standing in a dimly lit kitchen.
Now to let myself drift away.
Psycho Donuts →
…awesome! I so want to go here for donuts someday!
Eat the Guacamole & a piece of cake.
…just not at the same time. (Big mistake!)
March Madness
Doug is completely bonkers with March Madness this year… he’s in 5th place of the pool, only 20 points back.
The Pittsburgh win was a very big deal for him, apparently!
Chris on the Tonight Show with Troy D!
Troy D: It's CHRIS MONSOS!
Chris M: *tonight show theme plays*
Troy D: (applause)
Chris M: Thanks... thanks everybody, thanks!
Chris M: Great to be here
Troy D: Have a seat! I understand you're in a new movie!
Chris M: I am!
Chris M: It's a departure for me, but it's been a lot of fun
Troy D: Tell me all about it!
Chris M: Well, the film is called "Waiting for Fluffman" and it's kind of an art piece
Troy D: And you play...?
Chris M: Pork-me St. James
Troy D: Do we have a clip?
Chris M: The network actually would only let us show this two-second bit.
Chris M: So, this is me and I'm delivering a pizza to the frat house.
Chris M: And...
Chris M: Well, let's just watch.
Chris M: [film starts]
Chris M: [hand rings doorbell]
Chris M: [door opens]
Chris M: [clip ends]
Troy D: (applause)
Chris M: Thanks
Troy D: That was certainly revealing!
Chris M: Well, what was interesting to me that I discovered in filming
Chris M: Was the doorbell doesn't work at all!
Troy D: (laughter and applause)
Chris M: So my... erm... co-stars kept opening the door before I even rang the bell!
Troy D: (more laughter)
Troy D: Now, Chris -- I noticed in that film clip that you were only wearing a jockstrap.
Chris M: Mmmhmm, that's right
Chris M: In the script, I was supposed to be full monty
Chris M: But since I had a producer credit I flexed my muscles (so to speak) and made a costuming decision on my own
Troy D: (laughter)
Troy D: And what fine muscles they are! Did you do lots of training for the role?
Chris M: Well, I have to chalk it up to genetics.
Chris M: ...and an amazing plastic surgeon
Chris M: I think we figured it out
Chris M: and I'm really only 20% of the man I was when I was 20.
Troy D: (laughter)
Troy D: What's your next role?
Chris M: Actually I'll be in the West End next month as Earnest in "The Importance of being Earnest"
Chris M: Plus I have an album dropping this summer of Children's Music
Troy D: Oooh! Something to look forward to!
Troy D: Chris, thanks for joining us tonight -- it's always a pleasure!@
Chris M: Oh, thanks for having me Troy -- I love coming on!
Chris M: Can I stick around for the plate-spinning dogs??
Troy D: You bet!
Troy D: Also coming up after the break -- Jaleel White!
Troy D: (FTB)
